You don't actually own any of your social media accounts - whether it's LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok or any of the others.
You’re merely building on rented land.
Make sure you're either downloading a copy of your contacts - or if that's not possible, that you drive traffic to your own site where you can capture their email (usually with a lead magnet - ie. a free information widget).
When you don't do that and the site dies (remember MySpace?), you may just lose the audience you've worked so hard to grow.
And you wouldn’t want that, would you?
