Not getting the traction you want?

It may be the case that your competition is marketing better than you, and not that your product is objectively worse than theirs.

β€œMarketing better” could mean they are more precisely identifying target segments, using the right channels (offline/online) or communicating using the right messaging once the right segments and right channels have been found.

It could even mean that they're marketing more than you in terms of volume – ie. impressions, optimizing for click-throughs and converting on the Call-to-Actions.

And it could be all of the above – or more.

This idea also applies to other areas of life, including careers and your personal brand.
